I'm still working on getting all of my links in order but, never fear! I have settled on a basis for my links going forward and it will be what you see on this post.
As for older links... I'm going to preserve them along the [postID]-[postname].html format.
So, if you want to link to an older post make sure the article has the postID in the URL. If it does not have the postID than it is very likely that I have not updated that post yet.
The import plugin I used brought a large amount of data over but it also left off all of my extended text as well as dropping some things into the wrong category. I'm working my way through these items one at a time. Some categories are done (pets, programming, stories, apple) while others I am still working on.
It should not take me much longer to get everything back in order and write up my .htaccess redirect file.
