To be honest, I get hardly any magazines these days. There is simply too much stuff available on line for me to plunk my hard earned money on magazines. With that said, there are some I will occasionally purchase.
- Magazines for me
- Knights of the Dinner Table - This is a comic/game magazine put out by Kenzer and Company. They published one of my games in the past and they hold some options on some of my future games. I also did a good bit of web work for them in the past. One thing I got was a very long subscription to their magazine in liue of cash money for working for them. It's a great read and they offer some free webstrips on their web site.
- Wired - I used to subscribe to this (annual girl scout fundraising drive) but, like so many things they publish their content on line shortly after the magazine hits the stands. It's still a great read and I look it over at the library.
- Wood Working - I don't remember the name of the wood working magazine I currently get but I do get one. I spend a few hours reading through it and saying things like, "one day I'm going to build me one of them," then I put it down and forget about it. I do own a table saw and a few other wood working tools and I have built things. The problem I have is that I am allergic to many kinds of wood. It's mostly a pollen allergy but, why take the chance?
So, who should I tag next?
Ms. Q, RT Cunningham and Ryan.
