I imagine this is probably about the time to tell everyone a little bit about me:
I work in Telecom.
I'm a webmaster.
I write code (C++).
I'm married.
I have a kid.
I have a bi-weekly game night with the guys.
I build/fix computers.
I like Linux.
I design games.
I'm a writer.
Ich spreche keine auf deutch, aber meine duetch is nicht so gut.
I like anime.
My favorite Sponge Bob episode is the one where the Flying Dutchman captures Patrick and Sponge Bob and makes them into his "helpers" and all they do is tear the wood off the boat and act like idiots: (Did I mention I have a kid?)
I like Pokemon.
Well, those are the big things.

HMTK.com is no longer entirely my creation. I have several "guest" bloggers who contribute from time to time. The most noticable ones are my Pokemon Farmers. I will try and get them to write something for the about page.
The Pokemon Side of the House
Are you wondering about the farmers who share Pokemon with you? Well, sit right back and relax while we tell you a little bit about ourselves.

Greetings! I'm Whitdjinn and hailing from the American Heartland - Iowa! Normally when I'm driving out of town to work I think of a different type of farm, but I completely contribute my interest in Farming Pokemon to my Midwest upbringing always just out of the reach of real farms.
As far as my personal interests, I tend to dive into projects head first which makes me a 'Jack of all Trades, Master of none'. Pokemon is no different, once I heard about the additional breeding and battling and trading capabilities I knew I had to try it out.
When I'm not breeding endless boxes full of tasty pokes, I'm spending time with my family, including Suz, my fiance, and Heaven-Leigh, my daughter. I've deployed my bad influence and they now all play Pokemon. In fact, soon you may see my daughter posting comments right along with you to take part in harvesting the lovely crops.
Another interest that I've been spending a lot of time with lately is graphical design. As some of you know, I put together the design and graphic elements of the PokeFarm home blog. I want to delve into it a lot more, so if you hear of anyone needing some work, point them my way!
Thats about it, feel free to contact me via email or through the forums on this very site! I look forward to helping Steve and the other farmers in making this a great community of breeding fans everywhere!

I am the man who started it all. What started out as an attempt to help some people get the rare starters from Gold, Silver and Crystal has turned into this.
I was first bitten by the Pokemon bug when my daughter was introduced to the trading card game by a friend of hers. We soon has a Game boy in the house and copies of Ruby and Sapphire. We went back and purchased used copies of the Game Boy Color games and it was all over for us.
When I am not breeding Pokemon I spend time with my wife and young daughter who posts on here as PokemonLover.
All of the non-farming articles on here were written by me and used to live on one of my other blogs. with the popularity of Pokemon on the rise I decided to give the Pokemon their own home, thus was the PokeFarm born!

Greetings and salutations! Like Whitdjinn I hail from the Midwest, although in my case it's Chicago, Illinois. At the moment I'm currently a student of DeVry online, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Game and Simulation Programming. When I'm not busy with school I'm busy reading, writing, doodling, messing around with computers, messing around with my 5 guinea pigs, or playing video games.
I've been a gamer since the days of the Atari 2600, graduated to the Nintendo Entertainment System when that appeared, and have worked my way up the video game ladder, generation after generation. I mostly play rpg's, which I discovered early with the original Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy for the NES. It was my love of rpg's that got me into Pokemon, albeit not until Gold and Silver appeared (I saw Red and Blue when they came out, but I hate to admit that I didn't pay much attention to them at the time...). After that I picked up LeafGreen and have been a Poke-junkie ever since.
I was thrilled to discover a site that traded away rare Pokemon, and it was an even bigger thrill and an honor to be chosen by Steve to be a farmer for his site. Since then I've been very pleased to be helping out, first with hmtk.com and it's forum, and now our new home of pokefarm.com and it's respective forum. I hope to be involved with this site for a good long time to come!
If you have any questions or anything for me, you're always welcome to contact me through email or these very forums!

I'm Kate, the only female farmer here (so far), and I'm straight out of the Midwest--Ohio! I too live within reach of real farms, I prefer poke farming, however. I'm within sight of a degree in Horticulture (basically gardening) from The Ohio State University. This does create a preference for grass-type Pokemon, I can't help it.
I started playing Red/Blue (I had Blue!) back when it was newish (with my giant old gray game boy), when I was a wee farmer, and have loved it since. I'm dating myself here. Of course, in my day, we didn't have day care centers and breeding!
My love of farming in D/P came from an intense desire to hatch something shiny that has since passed, thats when I found out I can hatch eggs mindlessly for hours sometimes. I have hatched thousands of eggs (nothing special by the way!). When I am not farming, I take millions of pictures with my very nice camera, see more movies than most people I know, crochet, or play with my adorable pet rats.
