I can deal with having to set all of my podcasts to start at 00:01 to avoid the iPod crash problem but I can not stand having to force my iPod to load a podcast file!
I have re-formated my iPod multiple times now and this is still happening!
| Here we have my iTunes window open. I'm looking at my "recently added" section and I've just completed changing all of the podcasts to start at 00:01 to avoid the problem of my iPod crashing. Everything looks good so I'll select these podcasts and drag/drop them onto my iPod. |
My screen cap did not catch it but, over the highlighted iPod item is a crossed out circle. iTunes does not want to let me copy the files over to my iPod! So I have no choice but to take the two files I wanted to copy and copy them to my desktop.
Now I am dragging those same two files back into iTunes to put them directly onto my iPod. iTunes accepts this and the files transfer to my iPod. I takes a few minutes for the transfer to go through.
If you look up on top you will see the status window is telling us that two files are being transferred. Both of these files are podcast files, remember that.
Hey? Where are my two new podcast files? Why are they not listed as a podcast??? Did they even transfer over???
There they are... In the recently added listing and that is the ONLY place they show up! Not in the music are. Not in the podcast area. They only show up in the temporary "recently added" area. What good is that? Once they are no longer "recently added" how do I find them? Not only that but, how do I get rid of them? |
